
For all MLK Day events hosted by the Office of the Vice President for Diversity, Equity, and Multicultural Affairs, I coordinated with vendors to reserve tables, chairs, flowers, catering, and photography. I reviewed BEOs to ensure the proper setup of event space and food counts. I developed RSVP forms and meticulously managed guest lists of for the breakfast, keynote speaker reception, and the VIP reception with John Quiñones. Throughout the events, I welcomed guests, took care of speaker needs, and assisted with set up/teardown. These events served over 300 students, faculty, and members of the community. Following the events, I diligently tracked event costs using Excel spreadsheets to finalize event budgets and support year-end financial reports.
