Wright Productions

As an event coordinator for Wright Productions, I utilized my skills in vendor management, to negotiate with suppliers to curate an island oasis ambiance for special guests, including a celebrity client, along with their friends and family. My responsibilities involved the meticulous sourcing of over 10 promotional items, including custom napkins, decals, fresh coconuts, pillows, and footballs, to enhance the overall experience. I also managed the procurement of 400 fresh floral leis, tikis, themed seat cushions, pillows, floral decor, centerpieces, and entertainment equipment. This required diligent research, and attention to detail to ensure all items were ordered and delivered within a specific window without damage.

Throughout the process, I demonstrated maturity and professionalism, ensuring seamless coordination during the event setup and effective vendor management. I also led and monitored the silent auction which required trust of financial payments and autographed items.

• Researched over 30 vendors and negotiated with 10 vendors to source the best quality products within budget

On behalf of Wright Productions, I supported a unique guest experience for distributors and influencers during the product launch of a new shisha line. My responsibilities included talent sourcing, securing hotel and venue accommodations, and coordinating promotional items to ensure our clients landed business deals to increase sales.

In my role, I creatively crafted a script, chose wardrobe selections and makeup styles, and engaged actors to personify the distinctive characters associated with each new hookah flavor. To guarantee client's needs were met, I supervised the proper setup of rooms, reviewed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and maintained effective communication with hotel staff.

I collaborated closely with the team to ensure the timely packaging and shipment of all promotional materials to clients' home offices to ensure all items remained accounted for.

On behalf of Wright Productions I coordinated the communication and roles for 100+ volunteers for the in NAACP Convetion in Boston, to provide adequate support for all engagements. This inclued programs, workshops, voting sessions, and the grand expo. In this role I worked with my coworkers and members of the NAACP organization to ensure registration, ticketd events, open assembly, offices, and day of schedule tasks ran smoothly.
