Served as the liaison between the Commission on Hispanic and Latino Affairs and the City of Bloomington, to advocate for the needs of the Hispanic/Latino residents, Spanish-speaking community, refugees, and immigrants. I sustained partnerships with government agencies such as police departments, medical clinics, libraries, and trusted community centers to create safe spaces for families to voice their concerns.
